Annual Employee Meeting
On March, 4 2017, Albaraka organised its annual Employee Meeting at Hotel de Rabat under the theme: IMTIAZ “All together to achieve excellence”.
This get-together was the opportunity to share, in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere, the annual assessment of the institution’s activity for the year 2016, and the development opportunities following the Medium Term Plan “IMTIAZ 2017-2022″
MOUKAFAA Campaign
MOUKAFAA campaign lasted one month starting from March 15, 2017. It consisted on rewarding loyal customers. During this campaign, Albaraka offered 3166 mini-chaînes.

TANMYA Campaign
TANMYA campaign targeted both new and renewing customers who took out a loan during the period from April 15 to July 30 2017. 3 lucky winners were randomly selected and won mini-truck utility vehicles:
- M. Mohamed Aghazaf, client of the Tetouan branch.
- Ms. Hakima Bouissaaden, client of the Zaouiat Cheikh branch.
- M. Karim Rayd, client of the Tahla branch
Participation in SIAM :
From 18 to 23 April, the 12th edition of the Meknes International Agricultural Show”; was held under the theme “ agribusiness and sustainable value chains”;.
Albaraka was invited by the Mohammed VI Center for Support to Solidarity Microfinance (CMS), to participate to this edition with four of its clients, offering them the opportunity to expose their products, meet investors, producers and potential customers.
The clients who attended to this event are:
- Ms. Toufiq Fatiha, a client of the Sidi Bouzekri branch, is involved in the production and marketing of oils (argan and olive).
- M. El Barny Mohamed, client of the El Gara branch, beekeeper.
- M. Chouyakh Ahmed, a client of the Taounate branch, operates in the cooperative for the production and marketing of figs, olive oil, and aromatic herbs with packaging.
- • Ms. Bentaher Fadma, a client of the Tiznit branch, is active in the production of argan oil and other local products

Med Lab Entrepreneurship Forum
Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Fondation du Jeune Entrepreneur (FJE) organised in Bouznika, from 11 to 13 May 2017, the third edition of the “Med Lab Entrepreneurship Forum”; which aims to develop youth entrepreneurship, promote business creation and support project leaders from the emergence of an idea to its implementation
Several workshops and training sessions were held: financial education, savings management, business plan development, communication techniques, corporate image, etc., some of which were led by the Mohammed VI Centre for Solidarity Microfinance Support (CMS).
The Med Lab, whose motto is “create, develop and sustain your business”, was attended by several actors from the microfinance sector and partners, including the Albaraka institution, the JAIDA Fund, the CMS and other partners who strongly supported the forum, through financial, human or technical means.
Health Caravan
Albaraka in partnership with Axa Assurance and the doctors association : “Regard d’espoir”; launched a health caravan on May 19 and 20 for the benefit of the Sefrou agency’s clients. The caravan was supported by a medical staff of about thirty doctors, pharmacists and nurses.
It should be noted that this social action was initiated as part of the support of the institution’s social performance. The total number of beneficiaries is estimated at more than 300 renewing and new clients, 60% of whom are women.
National Micro-Entrepreneur Award
The fifth edition of the National Micro-Entrepreneur Award (NEMP) ceremony took place on Tuesday 23 May 2017 at the Mohammed VI Centre for Support to Solidarity Microfinance (CMS) in Casablanca.
It is a manifestation of esteem and great consideration for the microentrepreneurs, men and women, from all over Morocco, who have carried out interesting and viable projects using Micro-Finance, which have enabled them toconsiderably improve their living conditions.
Among the 31 winners, five Albaraka clients were awarded in the categories of “Microfinance and Human Development” : Youth Micro-Enterprise”, and “Special Incentive Award for Women”;

Implementation of the network pointing system
In order to improve the organization and management of working time at the Network level, the Albaraka institution has decided to extend the scoring system, in force at headquarters level, to the entire network.
The time system is accessible on the AGIRH portal and has the advantage of saving valuable time for Human Capital teams by automating data related to schedules and payroll management; thus administrative tasks are considerably reduced thanks to this reliable and automated system.

Visit of the German delegation
As part of the strengthening of its partnerships with donors, Albaraka hosted a German delegation in the Casablanca regional directorate, consisting of KFW (German Development Bank), the German Ministry of Cooperation and the SANAD Fund.
This meeting allowed Albaraka to showcase its activities, network, products and services. A zoom on the Casablanca region was presented. The institution’s strategic orientations and the socio-economic impact on clients were highlighted.
Finally, Albaraka and Sanad were able to share the experience of their partnership as well as a general appreciation of the relationship. . .
Enfin, Albaraka et Sanad ont pu partager l’expérience de leur partenariat ainsi qu’une appréciation générale de la relation.

Regional network meetings
In order to strengthen intra-organizational relations, the Executive Director has embarked on a tour of the 13 regions of the Albaraka network, a tour that renews the institution’s commitment to its employees. This initiative was welcomed by all employees and aims to standardize commercial policy, taking into account environmental and local specificities.
These meetings were also an opportunity to raise employees’; awareness of their commitments as members of the Albaraka family, the institution’s values and the importance of working together.

Responsibility and Performance Meetings
The 3rd edition of the Responsibility & Performance Meetings, held on 1 and 2 November in Casablanca, was dedicated to sharing experiences between development actors, under the theme ;Social innovation: for sustainable prosperity”;.
This edition was marked by the presence of Professor Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Prize winner in 2006 and pioneer of social business” During the meeting, the Professor announced the “Moulat El Kheir” project, a social entrepreneurship project in the agricultural sector in Morocco that will allow the social development of an entire rural ecosystem through potato production units.
In addition, the actors participating in this event shared the orientations that will allow the acceleration of what Professor YUNUS calls the "creative power”;, to invest these new fields of opportunities for growth that combines economic prosperity and social equity
